Out of those acne problems that teens and adults have been experiencing from the old days until now ( it doesn’t change! ), it could be rashes on the cheek, pimples and others can be called as “Acne Problem”.  People go to the dermatologists to solve the problems.  Dermatologists would give treatments by medicines, extra cosmetics, recommendations, and even those laser tools that would either prevent and cure the acne problem to pops up again on your face.  But then, have you ever known that those acne problems can be classified into 2 types?

Non inflammatory Acne

Those are Blackhead and Whitehead.  The whitehead pimple occurs when the trapped sebum and bacteria stay below the skin.  The white head will show in little tiny spot and visible to the naked eyes.  Blackhead occurs when the pore opens to the surface adn the sebum, which contains the skin pigment melanin, oxidizes and turns to black or brown ( normally call black ).

Inflammatory Acne

If you have inflammatory acne, then, you’re dealing with papule, pustule, Nodule, and Cyst.  A papule occurs when there is a break in the follicular wall. White blood cells rush in and the pore becomes inflamed. When you are having inflammatory pustule. It will form several days later when the white blood cells make their way to the surface of the skin. This is what people usually refer to as a “zit” or a “pimple”. When a follicle breaks along the bottom, total collapse can occur, causing a large, inflamed bump that can be sore to the touch, this type is called Nodule. Cyst is sometimes a severe inflammatory reaction can result in very large pus filled lesions. Ref: Acne.org
