Boomerang The Ride

Here comes another ride at Six Flags Amusement park that less people have talked about.  Six Flags is owning and operating over 19 amusement parks that is branded as Six Flags Theme Park and each park has its own unique roller coaster ride which draw attention and visitors to the park.  Boomerang is just another MAXIMUM THRILL ride that is in many of the six flags theme park chain such as Fiesta Texas, Discovery Kingdom, La Ronde, and Mexico.  The boomerang ride was originally being designed to look like both arrow from the side and the boomerang on the other.  Boomerang ride is being inspired by the actual boomerang hunting equipment from the aborigin tribe.  Bommerang is the hunting weapon for the tribe in which when the user throw out it will come back to the user after sweeping around the field, and that’s the concept of Bommerang Ride at Six Flags Theme Park.

Boomerang Ride is as tall as 20 stories high which has the length of 938 feet, elevation 125 feet and travel at the speed of 60 miles per hour.  The ride duration for one lap of Boomerang ride is almost 2 minutes or 1 minute and 44 seconds until the ride completely stop at the station.  It was firstly introduced at Six Flags by the company name Vekoma since the year 1999 which has been named as one of the most thrill ride in Six Flags until nowadays.

Starting at Boomerang Ride Station, the riders will be boarded on all of the 7 cars which can accommodate 28 riders at the same time.  The rider will be seated in pair next to each other and the session begin.  The riders and the cars will be pulled backward making the face of the riders toward the ground and their back against the sky.  The rider will be dragged up to 20 stories high and when the time comes all the cars will be zoom dropped by the speed of 60 mile per hour through the station and be twisted and curved by the sharp angle.  The riders faces will now face the sky to the other side of the boomerang edge.  The riders will then be pulled backward repeat the same track with the same speed and arrive safely at the station.

The impression from this ride is the moment when the riders are being pulled backward and all of them will be expecting the sudden fall through the station.  The other one is when the cars arrive at the other edge of Boomerang and the riders will be expecting another backward zooming.
